HBO’s The Last Of Us TV Series Season 2 Will Add A Character Backstory That Fans Will “Eat Up”

Season 2 of HBO and Sony Interactive Entertainment’s The Last of Us TV series will add a character backstory that fans will “eat up”, according to co-creator Neil Druckmann.

During a recent interview, Druckmann mentioned that what he’s really enjoyed while working on The Last of Us TV series is seeing people who have watched the show first and then gone and played the game, and talked about their experience. According to him, the game sometimes hints at things that the creators simply aren’t able to get into the show in a manner that the game can, and vice versa. He said that if people experience both, they’re richer for it. He added that he enjoys hearing about those experience from people.

These are things that the showrunners have already hinted at. In related news, it was revealed by Isabela Merced, who plays Dina in season 2 of The Last of Us TV series. that Kaitlyn Dever, who plays Abby, had to be given extra security when it came to the filming due to disgruntled fans of the game series. She reminded everyone that the character is not a real person, but that hasn’t stopped angry people from hating on her regardless.
