Neo: The World Ends With You and Monster Hunter Rise Rated For PC In Korea

Neo: The World Ends With You will release on PC through the Epic Games Store. It had an expected release window of Summer 2021 on PC.

Both of these games have been rated in Korea. While we are approaching Fall 2021, it appears that Square Enix is finally ready to release the sequel to The World Ends With You on PC. Capcom has already confirmed that Monster Hunter Rise will be available in early 2022 on PC.

Monster Hunter Rise was released for the Nintendo Switch early this March. The game runs on the RE Engine but it is limited to 30 FPS although performance is solid. The PC version was leaked through a major Capcom database breach and then confirmed once the Switch version was close to an official launch.

As for Neo: The World Ends With You, the game has just launched on PS4 and Nintendo Switch. It was already announced that the game will release on PC in Summer 2021, but this version will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store. Here is a summary of the game taken from the official website.

It was just another seemingly ordinary day in Shibuya-but not for Rindo. He could tell something about the city felt different.

He soon finds himself caught in the telekinetic crossfire of a psychic battle unfolding in the Scramble Crossing. And before he can catch his breath, a girl with an ominous aura appears before him and welcomes him to the so-called “Reapers’ Game.”

With some trepidation, Rindo and his friend Fret play along, convincing themselves that a “Game” couldn’t have any serious consequences. It isn’t long, however, until they start having second thoughts.

Rindo’s instinct was right: something about this Shibuya is different.

We will have to wait and see what Square Enix and Capcom have to say regarding these two games in order to get an official release date for the PC version.
