Alan Wake 2 Update 1.2.5 Delivers Crucial Fixes and Improved Gameplay Features

by Salal Awan

The latest update (1.2.5) for Alan Wake 2 is here, and it’s packed with some neat improvements, new features, and bug fixes to make the game even better across all platforms. Some cool new stuff includes adding collectibles from The Lake House to Saga’s Mind Place if you play the expansion within the main campaign, and unlocking the Night Springs theme in the Writer’s Room once you finish any Night Springs chapter. They’ve also tweaked enemy behavior, so the “Thrower” enemies won’t be as annoying with their reduced movement and teleportation speed. Plus, they’ve added higher sensitivity options for motion controls, perfect for those players who like precision.

They’ve fixed various issues, like missing Performance shadows on the PS5 Pro, manuscript pages not showing up in some chapters, and soft locks caused by picking up key items too early. Other fixes include sorting out problems with map markers, objectives, and localization. They’ve also made the Deluxe Edition cosmetics better, like updating Alan’s appearance and how he interacts with the environment, making the whole experience even more immersive.
