The preload and download size for Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition has been announced. This enhanced version of the survival horror title is set in the Alien universe. The game will allow PlayStation 5 owners to begin preloading on September 28, with the official launch scheduled for September 30 across PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X.
As shared by PlayStationSize, on Sony’s platform, the download size is listed at 19.402 GB, with the launch build identified as version 01.000.004. The standard edition of the game is priced at 29.99 USD. Players can expect servers to go live globally at 4 PM GMT on release day.
Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition places players in the role of Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks, a character known from Alien comic and novel adaptations. The narrative unfolds between the events of Alien and Aliens, sending Hendricks to investigate a Weyland-Yutani blacksite on the remote planet Purdan. Once there, she encounters relentless Xenomorphs that stalk, attack, and adapt in ways that heighten the sense of unpredictability and dread.
The story is presented as the opening chapter of a planned two-part saga, with Hendricks joined by her synth companion, Davis 01, in the desperate struggle to survive. Survios has rebuilt the title for modern hardware, promising enhanced visuals, 60 frames per second, 3D audio, haptic feedback, and adaptive trigger support on PlayStation 5.
Originally announced in 2022, the game was written by established Alien author Alex White and first launched as a VR-exclusive experience in late 2024. The Evolved Edition expands that vision by reimagining the title for traditional platforms.
