Amazon has announced the lineup of games to be added to Prime Gaming for the month of August, 2025, and it features 12 games, including Eidos-Montreal’s THIEF: Definitive Edition.

This month begins with Sid Meier’s Civilization III Complete [GOG code[, THIEF: Definitive Edition [GOG code], and The Academy: The First Riddle [Amazon Games App], which can be redeemed starting today, on August 7, 2025. On August 14, 2025, the games on offer will include FATE: The Traitor Soul [GOG Code], Filthy Animals | Heist Simulator [Epic Games Store], Tin Hearts [GOG Code], and Necroking [GOG Code].

On August 21, 2025, Prime Gaming will offer Labyrinth City: Pierre the Maze Detective [Amazon Games App], and Silver Box Classics [GOG Code]. Prominently featured in the August, 2025, lineup for Amazon Prime Gaming is THIEF: Definitive Edition, a stealth action game developed by Eidos-Montréal and published by Square Enix on February 25, 2014, for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. In November, 2015, Feral Interactive ported the game to OS X. The fourth main entry in the cult-classic Thief franchise was first revealed in 2009 under the working title of Thief 4. However, by 2013, it was confirmed that the project would instead be a full reboot of the series.
