Apex Legends Update 1.016 Fixes Challenges, Loot Bin Spawns, and Legend Ability Bugs

by Ali Haider

Respawn Entertainment has released Apex Legends update 1.016 on PlayStation 5, with patch version 2.92 for PlayStation 4, focusing on multiple gameplay fixes. This update resolves issues affecting challenge progression in Mixtape, incorrect loot bin spawns, and various legend ability bugs, including Caustic’s Gas Fighter upgrade lasting longer than intended and Bangalore’s upgraded abilities destroying deployables through walls.

The patch also corrects a bug causing the Sparrow to have fewer arrows than intended when using the Bocek in Wildcard, and adds a new Amp icon to enemy health bars to indicate when players have Amps equipped. A follow-up update is planned to address inconsistent damage caused by Bangalore’s Electric Smoke update when targeting enemy deployables.
