Nexon has announced that ARC Raiders has surpassed 12.4 million units sold worldwide, marking a major commercial achievement for the multiplayer shooter just ten weeks after its release. The game, developed by Stockholm-based Embark Studios, launched on October 30, 2025, and continues to show strong momentum across major global markets.
Alongside its sales performance, ARC Raiders reached a new record in January with 960,000 concurrent players, highlighting strong player retention well beyond its launch window. Nexon described the sustained engagement as a key indicator of the title’s long-term potential within its portfolio.
According to Nexon, ARC Raiders crossed the 10 million sales mark by the end of December, less than two months after release, driven in part by strong holiday demand and promotional activity across the Epic Games Store, Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. Sales accelerated further in the following weeks, pushing the total beyond 12.4 million units while the game remained a regular presence near the top of Steam’s Top Sellers chart.
Nexon leadership pointed to the game’s reception as validation of its broader strategy to expand globally through new original properties. The company emphasized that ARC Raiders’ success reflects both its appeal across multiple regions and its ability to compete in one of the most crowded and competitive genres in the industry.
Embark Studios also credited the games community for its continued growth. The studio highlighted player feedback and ongoing engagement as a guiding force behind the game’s evolution since launch, noting that community involvement has been central to shaping future updates and content direction.
Beyond its commercial performance, ARC Raiders has received widespread critical recognition. The game has earned several high profile awards and accolades, including Best Multiplayer at The Game Awards, Most Innovative Gameplay at the Steam Awards 2025, and Best Multiplayer at PC Gamers Game of the Year Awards. It was also named Best Shooter of 2025 by IGN and featured in multiple year end best games lists from outlets such as Game Informer and Kotaku.
