Embark Studios has released update 1.23.0 for ARC Raiders, bringing a mix of gameplay fixes, balance adjustments, and technical improvements. The patch also introduces the Vanguard Set, now available in the in game shop.
This update primarily focuses on resolving bugs that affected combat behavior, item usage, and map interactions. Several exploits have also been addressed, alongside stability improvements aimed at reducing crashes and visual inconsistencies.

- Fixed issue where two Trigger ’Nades could deal triple damage when detonated together
- Fixed items not being used immediately when holding fire and swapping
- Fixed weapons and items firing automatically
- Fixed camera getting stuck on one side during shoulder swap
- Fixed exploit allowing Anvil Splitter use without dispersion penalty
- Prevented barricades from being placed on ziplines

- Fixed players being set on fire outside locked room in Medical Research on Stella Montis
- Fixed spot on Stella Montis where players could be shot through the floor
- Fixed missing staircases in Buried City
- Fixed code printer interaction issues during Locked Gate
Close Scrutiny
- Adjusted movement speed for Rocketeers and Vaporizers to improve idle behavior
- Fixed reconnected players not seeing Assessor platforms correctly
- Fixed Vaporizers getting stuck near an Assessor
- Fixed Assessor failing to return to orbit
- Fixed breach platforms breaking due to repeated Breach and Search inputs
- Ensured ARC summoned by Assessor despawn correctly after idling
- Fixed map pinging for Assessor showing incorrect location
- Fixed players getting stuck when jumping between Assessor platforms
- Fixed overlap issue where Assessor and Probe could spawn in same location
Other Fixes
- Fixed weapon upgrade UI displaying incorrect tiers
- Fixed transparent helmet visor issue
- Fixed visual effects causing crashes in some cases
- Continued investigation into remaining crash issues
