The ARC Raiders Winter Update brings harsh seasonal conditions to the Rust Belt, introducing new environmental threats and a limited-time event that challenges players to survive extreme cold while supporting the underground settlement of Speranza. From frozen terrain to deadly exposure risks, the update significantly alters how Raiders must approach Topside encounters.
Alongside the winter conditions, a new event, fresh rewards, and a permanent Raider Deck expand progression options through January. The update emphasizes risk management, exploration, and survival, with meaningful incentives for players willing to brave the cold.

New Map Condition: Cold Snap
- Introduced the Cold Snap winter condition affecting Topside locations starting December 16
- Added freezing weather that rapidly drains Raider health when exposed for too long
- Implemented frostbite mechanics that can down a Raider within minutes without shelter or healing
- Reduced movement stability when traversing frozen water surfaces
- Decreased player visibility during blizzards across affected areas

Limited-Time Event: Flickering Flames
- Added the Flickering Flames seasonal event running from December 16 to January 13

- Enabled Candleberry collection for use in Speranza banquets and winter survival efforts
- Added Special Item collection objectives to support light, heat, and morale in Speranza

New Raider Deck: The Goalie

- Enabled progression by earning Cred during Topside runs
- Added unlockable items, Raider Tokens, and cosmetics through the deck
- Introduced a flagship old-world gladiator-inspired outfit
- Added a new hockey stick Raider Tool as part of the deck rewards
ARC Raiders launched on October 30, 2025, and is available on PC for Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S.
