Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Domain Registration Discovered

by Salal Awan

A newly registered domain associated with Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has been discovered, adding further momentum to ongoing reports surrounding Ubisoft’s rumored remake of the 2013 title. The finding was shared publicly by community tracker The Hidden One, who noted that the domain was registered recently, approximately 25 days prior to being spotted.

According to the information shared, the domain is registered through GANDI SAS, a French domain registrar that Ubisoft has historically used across many of its major franchises. The same registrar has been consistently associated with official domains for series such as Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell, and Just Dance. The choice of registrar has drawn attention, as it aligns closely with Ubisoft’s established internal practices rather than third-party or speculative registrations.

Further clarification followed shortly after the initial discovery. The Hidden One addressed confusion surrounding the timing of the registration, stating that the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced domain was created just one day before a domain update tied to the Prince of Persia remake. This comparison was made to counter claims that the domain might be unrelated or outdated, suggesting instead that it fits cleanly within Ubisoft’s recent digital activity pattern.

The domain discovery arrives alongside other developments tied to the project. The rumored remake was also recently rated by PEGI, a move that typically indicates a product is well into development and approaching a public release window. While Ubisoft has not formally commented on the domain registration itself, the combination of a PEGI rating and an official style domain registration strengthens the case that the project is actively moving forward.
