Assassin’s Creed Shadows Update 1.1.1 Brings Claws of Awaji Expansion, Free Bo Quest, and Key Fixes

Ubisoft has rolled out Title Update 1.1.1 for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, introducing a major new expansion, fresh quests, and significant gameplay improvements. The highlight is the Claws of Awaji expansion, which brings a new island region, over ten hours of additional content, new legendary gear, and a fresh weapon for Naoe. Alongside this, a free story quest, Go with the Bo, introduces the Bo staff for all players starting September 16.

The update also raises the level cap to 100, expands Hideout features, enhances gear quality with Mythic and Artifact tiers, and introduces a new Animus Project titled Sanctuary. Performance updates include uncapped cutscenes on PC and extensive bug fixes across gameplay, visuals, and quests, ensuring a smoother experience for players on all platforms.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is a 2025 action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft. Set in 16th-century feudal Japan during the late Sengoku period, it follows shinobi assassin Fujibayashi Naoe and African samurai Yasuke.

The game was released on March 20, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Microsoft Windows, and macOS, with an iPadOS version planned for a later release.
