Title Update 1.1.7 for Assassin’s Creed Shadows introduces new finisher animations for both Naoe and Yasuke, expanding combat presentation with more cinematic and brutal endings. The update also delivers new Animus-focused content, including a mysterious Rift experience and a new Project with unlockable rewards.
In addition to new features, the update includes a wide range of gameplay fixes, platform-specific improvements, and stability enhancements. Nintendo Switch 2 performance receives targeted attention, while multiple quest blockers, UI inconsistencies, and item-related issues are resolved across platforms.

- Ensured Bo Staff affliction buildup increases at Mythic and Artifact quality
- Updated affliction perk wording to dynamically reflect applied afflictions

Assassin’s Creed Shadows was released on March 20, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, PC, and macOS, with a Nintendo Switch 2 release on December 2, 2025.
