Ubisoft has announced Title Update 1.4 for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, scheduled for deployment on April 15. This update delivers a series of enhancements aimed at improving gameplay accessibility, in-game navigation, and the user interface, while also introducing a few cosmetic additions. With platform-specific patch sizes ranging between 4.82 GB and 6.79 GB, the update focuses on refining the user experience across all supported systems.
Among the most significant improvements is a revamped Hunter’s Guide, which now allows players to mark entries as favorites and filter through known and unknown entries. This refinement helps streamline the cataloging of wildlife and fauna across Pandora by introducing an “Undiscovered Entries” filter. In addition, the Photo Mode has been expanded with a new “Style” tab, featuring a Comic Book visual filter that enables players to capture stylized, artistic snapshots of the game world. Other gameplay quality-of-life improvements include updates to the map and new customization settings for how quest markers appear and how gathering tutorials are presented during play. Furthermore, the visibility of pinned ingredients has been enhanced, and a new HUD Contrast setting is now available to improve interface clarity.
The update also resolves a number of technical issues and bugs, including arrow targeting inconsistencies related to the Reflex Shot perk, UI problems, stability fixes, and various quest-related glitches. Improvements to localization and support for left-handed control schemes have also been included. As a final surprise, all players will receive two new ikran patterns, First Light and Dreamer’s Run, which are automatically added to their inventories following the update.
