Baldur’s Gate 3 Update 1.007.300 Drops Minor Fixes For Modding and Gameplay

Hotfix 28 Is Out With Some Minor Improvements

by Ali Haider

The latest update 1.007.300 for Baldur’s Gate 3, Hotfix #28, focuses on addressing several issues across all platforms, including gameplay bugs, mod management improvements, and stability enhancements. This patch primarily resolves crashes and blockers that were impacting gameplay, while also improving certain modding functionalities, particularly on PS5.

One of the key improvements in this update is related to modding. For PS5 users, the ‘Continue’ button now works similarly to the ‘Load Game’ screen, preventing players from starting a game if there are any unresolved mod issues. Furthermore, the Mod Verification Window has been updated to ensure that it no longer repeatedly asks players to re-download or uninstall mods when the necessary actions have already been taken. Mod dependencies have also been addressed, ensuring they are loaded in the correct order after enabling or disabling mods.
