The Regal Update marks BALL x PIT’s first free major update, introducing a significant wave of new playable content and gameplay additions. Two new treasure seekers join the roster, supported by new balls, new passives, and features long requested by the community.
Alongside the expanded character lineup, the update broadens build variety and moment to moment combat through additional ball types and passives. The Regal Update is positioned as a substantial content drop designed to refresh progression and experimentation.

- Added The Carouser, a treasure seeker whose returning balls orbit around him
- Added The Falconer, a treasure seeker accompanied by two falcons that throw balls

The Regal Update is a free update for BALL x PIT, launching on January 26, 2026. BALL x PIT originally released on October 15, 2025, and is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
