Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios have rolled out a new backend update for Battlefield 6, implementing several gameplay adjustments and fixes that are now live across all platforms. The changes focus primarily on weapon balance, projectile physics, and Rush mode parameters, aiming to refine overall match pacing and improve weapon handling consistency.
The update notably increases the ticket count in Rush mode, modifies the muzzle velocities of the M2010 ESR and PSR sniper rifles, and introduces realistic drag effects for shotgun projectiles. In a separate adjustment, the developers also resolved an issue affecting jump momentum, which caused unintended movement interruptions when certain weapons were equipped. All fixes are active immediately and will apply upon joining a fresh match.
