Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios have released a new hotfix for Battlefield 6, addressing weapon-related bugs and balance adjustments across multiple Conquest maps. Following community reports of rare instances where bullets failed to register damage correctly, developers identified the cause as an interaction between specific weapon attachment combinations. This issue has now been resolved through a targeted hotfix, with ongoing monitoring to ensure reliable hit detection and weapon consistency across all platforms.
In addition to the weapon fix, the update rebalances Conquest mode pacing by reducing the starting ticket count across all maps. This change aims to make matches conclude more naturally, as many games previously ended due to time limits rather than depletion of tickets. Furthermore, the Out of Bounds timer for vehicles on Manhattan Bridge has been extended, giving players extra leeway to maneuver before being penalized. Battlefield Studios confirmed they will continue monitoring player data and feedback to fine-tune gameplay flow.
