A recent leak has given fans an early look at Battlefield 6, months before its official release in October 2025. The footage, posted by a Reddit user and later uploaded on YouTube, showcases an extensive range of weapons, vehicles, gadgets, and class specializations included in a Battlefield 6 Labs build.

The video outlines a wide assortment of weaponry available in the game. Players can expect to use eight assault rifles, eight submachine guns, eight light machine guns, four designated marksman rifles, four sniper rifles, four shotguns, and six pistols. The game also appears to feature numerous attachments, though the leak did not provide a complete breakdown.

In terms of equipment, each class will have access to distinct gadgets. For example, the Assault class can deploy beacons, ladders, and various grenade launchers. Engineers will have tools such as bomb disposal drones, anti-tank weaponry, and missile systems. The Support role carries traditional medic tools like defibrillators, supply crates, and mortar systems, while Recon players can utilize C4, drones, claymores, and tracking devices. Throwables vary across classes, including grenades, smoke, flashbangs, and even throwing knives.

The leaked build also highlighted class progression tracks that enhance playstyles. Assault players can choose between Forward Troops, which removes movement penalties while firing, or Grenadier, which allows additional grenades. Engineers have options such as Anti-armor, granting more rockets, and Combat Engineer, which focuses on vehicle maintenance. Support players can pursue paths centered on healing or resupplying teammates. Recon tracks remain somewhat unclear, though references to Sniper, Spec Ops, and Battle Ranger were noted.

Vehicles play a central role in the experience, with factions receiving variations of tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, transport carriers, anti-air units, helicopters, and jets. According to the footage, melee combat will also return with weapons like combat knives and sledgehammers, while cosmetics remain grounded and realistic for both soldiers and vehicles.

Beyond combat, the leak suggests a robust progression system. Players will encounter daily, weekly, seasonal, and assigned challenges, as well as a battle pass. The footage also pointed to a large selection of dog tags and battle challenges that may tie into the single-player campaign.

Battlefield 6, developed by Battlefield Studios and published by Electronic Arts, is set to launch on October 10, 2025. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.
