Update 1.2.2.0 for Battlefield 6 delivers a substantial set of gameplay improvements, balance changes, and bug fixes across multiple systems. Vehicle gameplay has been refined with better helicopter landing stability, stronger tank braking power, and a new deturtling feature that allows light transport vehicles to flip upright and continue moving.
The patch also expands gadgets, introduces new weapons and attachments, improves AI behavior, and resolves numerous issues across maps, UI, progression systems, and networking. Additional enhancements to audio clarity, squad presentation, and overall gameplay responsiveness are also included.

- Players can change stance earlier during Drag and Revive with improved animation responsiveness

- Improved bot combat priorities to revive allies instead of ignoring nearby enemies
- Improved bot danger awareness to avoid targeting enemies through solid surfaces
- Improved bot helicopter survivability with better flare usage
- Improved bot pathfinding and navigation on Contaminated and Eastwood
RedSec
- Added a new underground POI called Defense Testing Complex 3 beneath Fort Lyndon
- New underground tunnel network designed for close quarters combat
- Increased higher rarity loot opportunities within the new sector
- Adjusted airdrop container behaviour to prevent loot clipping
- Slightly increased opening speed for armory crates and airdrop containers
- Lowered Air Strike spawns outside the new POI
