Battlefield 6 Update 1.2.2.5 Fixes Matchmaking and Stability Issues

Battlefield 6 update 1.2.2.5 is set to roll out on March 31, bringing a range of minor fixes aimed at improving overall stability and gameplay consistency. The update focuses on resolving visual issues, matchmaking problems, and several map-related inconsistencies.

In addition, the patch introduces fixes across REDSEC, UI elements, and general crash-related problems. While not a major content update, it targets several lingering issues that have affected moment-to-moment gameplay.

  • Fixed issue where the soldier’s hand could block the view when using certain variable scopes

Matchmaking

  • Fixed issue preventing players from joining friends’ in progress sessions via the Steam interface

Maps and Modes

  • Fixed unintended NVG effect appearing when switching between soldiers while spectating
  • Fixed issue where C-RAM emplacement for the PAX faction did not display correctly on Eastwood
  • Fixed issue where extra soldiers appeared behind the active squad in the pre game insertion screen on Hagental Base

REDSEC

  • Fixed issue preventing automatic grenade pickup while looting
  • Fixed issue causing loot to disappear shortly after spawning

Stability Improvements

  • Implemented general fixes targeting crashes and overall game stability

UI and HUD

  • Fixed issue where match statistics, performance data, and squad information displayed incorrectly on the end of round screen

Battlefield 6 update 1.2.2.5 is scheduled to release on March 31, 2026. The game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
