Battlefield Hardline to Be Delisted on PS4 and Xbox One, Online Services Ending in June

Electronic Arts has confirmed that Battlefield Hardline will be phased out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with delisting and service shutdown dates now set for later this year.

According to the announcement, the game will be removed from digital storefronts on May 22, 2026, after which it will no longer be available for purchase on those platforms, including all associated downloadable content. Online services for the console versions will then be discontinued on June 22. EA stated, “While Hardline will no longer support online functionality on Xbox One and PlayStation®4, players who own the game will still be able to play the single-player component.”

The publisher clarified that these changes do not affect the PC version. “Battlefield Hardline on PC will remain available, including online services,” the company said, indicating continued support for that platform.

Originally released in March 2015, Battlefield Hardline has sold over 8 million units worldwide. Although its console player base has declined over time, the game continues to maintain a modest but active community on PC. Players there are still running matches, particularly in modes such as Heist and Blood Money, keeping the title active more than a decade after its launch.
