Bethesda Game Studios has hinted that new information about Starfield will be shared next week. The brief tease was posted on the studio’s official social media account in response to ongoing community discussion around the game.

In the post, the developer acknowledged the strong feedback from players while making a lighthearted reference to Bethesda director Todd Howard. “We ran this by Todd and he said his only visionary power is seeing running lanes in EA College Football 26,” the studio wrote. It continued, “He appreciates all the passionate feedback on Starfield and we’ll have more to share next week.”

The message did not provide any specific details about what will be revealed, but it arrives at a time when speculation around the game has been increasing. Recent reports have suggested that Bethesda may be preparing to bring Starfield to PlayStation 5 in the near future.

According to a leak previously reported by Dealabs, the PS5 version of Starfield is expected to launch physically on April 7, 2026. The report claims that the game will be offered in both Standard and Premium editions, following a similar structure to the Xbox release. However, the Premium Edition on PS5 reportedly will not include early access.

The leak also outlined potential pricing for the PlayStation version in Europe. The Standard Edition is said to be priced at €49.99 or £44.99, while the Premium Edition is listed at €69.99 or £59.99. These figures would represent a lower price compared to the original Xbox release, with reductions reportedly reaching as much as €40.

Starfield first launched on September 6, 2023, for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S as well as PC. The science fiction role-playing game has since attracted more than 15 million players across available platforms.

Industry insiders have also suggested that the reported PlayStation 5 release could coincide with a major update to the game. The rumored update, described as version 2.0, is expected to introduce significant technical improvements alongside the game’s second story expansion.

Bethesda has not officially confirmed the PS5 version or the details outlined in the leak. For now, the studio’s latest message indicates that more information related to Starfield will be shared sometime next week.
