Game Science has released the latest patch for Black Myth: Wukong, version 1.0.20.21756, introducing extensive performance upgrades, system refinements, and a series of bug fixes across both PlayStation 5 and PC. This update is one of the most technically significant to date, integrating AMD’s FSR4 technology, reworking graphical modes, and improving CPU and memory performance in various gameplay scenarios.

In addition to performance optimizations, the patch includes enhancements to boss encounters, interface clarity, and localization. PlayStation 5 users will notice a rebalanced Performance Mode that now runs at 60Hz for reduced input latency and higher resolution, while PC players gain expanded compatibility settings and improved lighting effects. The update also resolves multiple rendering, translation, and voiceover issues for a smoother overall experience.

Black Myth: Wukong is an award-winning action RPG developed by Game Science, inspired by the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West. Players control the Destined One, a staff-wielding warrior on a mythic quest to recover six relics tied to Sun Wukong’s senses. The game launched on August 20, 2024, for PlayStation 5 and Windows, and later on August 20, 2025, for Xbox Series X/S.
