Bloober Team Plans Multiple Project Reveals in 2026, Shares Details on New Horror Games

by Ali Haider

Bloober Team has shared new details about its development pipeline, confirming that the studio plans to unveil several projects throughout 2026. The update was provided by CEO Piotr Babieno during a StockWatch discussion, where he described the upcoming year as a particularly active period for announcements.

According to Babieno, the studio intends to reveal information about its future games during multiple industry events while also sharing updates about existing brands and activities within the Bloober Team group.

“This year should be very communication-intensive for us. We plan to be present at several important industry events, during which we will gradually reveal further elements of our project pipeline. You can expect information regarding new projects, as well as further news related to our current brands and activities carried out by the companies in our group.”

The CEO explained that Bloober Team currently has two internal production teams working in parallel on large-scale projects. Both titles are described as horror games with a strong focus on narrative and are designed primarily for single-player audiences.

At the same time, the company’s second-party publishing segment, Broken Mirror Games, is also developing horror projects through partnerships with external studios. This structure allows the company to combine its own development work with collaborative productions that rely on the specialized expertise of partner teams.

Babieno also confirmed that work has begun on a new original project known internally as Project H. The game is currently in the pre-production phase and is being developed by the team that previously worked on the title Cronos.

“We can only say that it promises to be the most ambitious project this team has realized to date, with the greatest commercial potential among all their titles.”

According to the CEO, the project is designed with a stronger market position in mind while still benefiting from the studio’s experience working within the horror genre. However, Bloober Team does not expect the budget for the project to exceed that of Cronos.

Meanwhile, another project known as Project M has recently undergone organizational changes. Babieno stated that the development team working on the project has been adjusted, though the company is satisfied with the direction the game is currently taking.

“Regarding budget issues, we do not assume significant changes compared to previously planned expenditures.”

Babieno also clarified the status of Layers of Fear 3, which had previously been announced earlier this year. The project is not currently being developed by Bloober Team’s internal first-party teams. Instead, the game is being created in a co-development model with external partners, while the original creators of the franchise at Bloober Team remain involved in the process.

He added that aside from one project developed with an external publisher, most of the studio’s current projects are being financed directly by the company itself.

“Importantly, currently, apart from one project implemented in cooperation with an external publisher, all other projects are financed from the company’s own funds.”

Founded in 2008 and based in Krakow, Bloober Team is known for developing narrative-driven horror titles. The company remains publicly listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and continues to focus on expanding its portfolio of horror experiences through both internal development and external collaborations.
