Bluey’s Quest for The Gold Pen is now available worldwide on Google Play, marking the debut of a new interactive adventure based on the popular animated series. The game introduces an original story written by Bluey creator Joe Brumm and is designed to blend gentle exploration with narrative-driven gameplay aimed at families and younger players.
The title is developed by Brisbane-based Halfbrick Studios, best known for mobile hits such as Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride. In Bluey’s Quest for The Gold Pen, players explore hand-drawn environments inspired by memorable episodes of the show, including Dragon and Escape, while uncovering secrets and progressing through a story focused on imagination and discovery.
The game features voice performances from the original cast of the Bluey television series, reinforcing its close connection to the source material. A new original soundtrack was created in collaboration with Ludo Studio and BBC Studios, further aligning the game’s presentation with the tone and identity of the show.
While the mobile version is available now on Google Play, Halfbrick Studios and publisher PM Studios have confirmed that the game will expand to additional platforms later this year. Planned releases include PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S, allowing the experience to reach a wider audience beyond mobile devices.
With its focus on heartfelt storytelling, familiar characters, and accessible gameplay, Bluey’s Quest for The Gold Pen represents a significant expansion of the Bluey universe into interactive entertainment, while staying true to the themes that have made the series a global success.
