Borderlands 4 Major Update Adds Bloomreaper Raid, True Mode, and UVHM 6

The latest Borderlands 4 update delivers one of the most expansive post launch patches to date, introducing Bloomreaper the Invincible alongside a new arena, additional loot, and two advanced difficulty settings. True Mode scales all encounters to four player intensity, while Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode 6 brings a fresh challenge tier and new Skillcraft firmware that upgrades Action Skills through three escalating tiers. These additions deepen the late game structure and give players new ways to push their builds.

The update also includes extensive refinements across gameplay, gear balance, UI, splitscreen functionality, visuals, audio, and overall performance. Numerous mission fixes, companion enhancements, and technical optimizations help stabilize the experience while improving framerate, responsiveness, and long term consistency. Weekly activities have also rotated, giving players new objectives and rewards to pursue across Kairos.

Borderlands 4 is an action RPG looter shooter developed by Gearbox Software for PC Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X S. It launched on September 12, 2025, with a planned Nintendo Switch 2 version delayed indefinitely.
