by Ali Haider

The latest Borderlands 4 update, released on October 9, 2025, brings a set of targeted balance changes and activity refreshes designed to enhance gameplay diversity and progression. Following last week’s major overhaul, Gearbox Software has focused this patch on fine-tuning specific Legendary weapons, improving pet scaling, and adjusting damage values to create a more balanced experience for all Vault Hunters. Weekly events have also been refreshed, offering players new challenges and opportunities to secure better loot.

Gearbox also confirmed that additional quality-of-life improvements, performance optimizations, and stability fixes are in development. Players are encouraged to restart their game after installing the update to avoid connection issues in matchmaking and ensure all changes are properly applied.
