Gearbox Software and publisher 2K have unveiled the official voice cast for the upcoming Borderlands 4, offering fans a first look at the talent bringing its new characters to life. The highly anticipated sequel, set to release on September 12, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version arriving October 3, introduces a fresh lineup of Vault Hunters voiced by some of the industry’s most recognizable actors.

The cast features Ray Chase, known for his roles as Noctis in Final Fantasy XV and Cyclops in X-Men 97, stepping into the role of Amon the Forgeknight. Joining him is Kimberley Brooks, who previously voiced Ashley Williams in the Mass Effect trilogy and Hollis Forsythe in Psychonauts 2. She will portray Harlowe the Gravitar, bringing her experience with commanding and nuanced performances to the Borderlands universe.

Also confirmed is Judy Alice Lee, who recently voiced Melinoe in Hades II and Luna Snow in Marvel Rivals. She will take on the role of Vex the Siren, continuing the series tradition of showcasing powerful Siren characters with unique abilities. Alejandro Saab, whose credits include Yuri in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Cyno in Genshin Impact, rounds out the lineup as Rafa the Exo-Soldier.

With this ensemble, Gearbox appears to be doubling down on both star power and voice acting depth to further expand the series. The choice of actors suggests an emphasis on distinct personalities for each playable character, something longtime fans have come to expect from the looter shooter franchise.

Borderlands 4 follows on from the events of Borderlands 3 (2019) and represents the fifth mainline entry in the saga. Combining the series hallmark mix of humor, fast-paced action, and loot-driven progression, the title is poised to be one of the major releases of the year.
