The Xbox Store has seemingly leaked major details regarding Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 ahead of Activision’s official announcement. According to the listing, the upcoming beta is set to begin with early access on October 2, followed by an open beta for all players starting on October 5. This confirms earlier speculation that Treyarch and Raven Software would run an extended testing phase prior to the game’s November release.
In addition to the beta schedule, the store description revealed that pre-ordering any digital edition or subscribing to select Game Pass plans will grant players the exclusive Reznov Challenge Pack. This pack immediately unlocks the SOG Reznov Operator Skin in both Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone, while also providing access to additional Stalingrad Reznov and Memory Reznov skins. Alongside this, the listing confirmed Black Ops 7 as a cross-gen bundle, supporting Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC with Smart Delivery enabled.
The leak also gave fans their first glimpse of multiplayer, with an early promotional image showing the updated character designs and settings. Black Ops 7 is set in 2035 and follows David Mason leading a JSOC squad through a global conflict steeped in psychological warfare. The campaign, playable solo or in co-op, will explore a mix of futuristic and surreal environments. Multiplayer will launch with 16 traditional 6v6 maps and two large-scale 20v20 arenas, while Zombies will return in Treyarch’s signature round-based format.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launches on November 14, 2025, across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms.
