Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Beta Day 3 Update Brings Playlist Changes and Weapon Nerfs

by Ali Haider

The third day of the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 beta brings a substantial update featuring new matchmaking options and major adjustments to weapon balance. The introduction of the Open Moshpit playlist significantly reduces skill-based matchmaking, allowing players to face opponents across a broader range of skill levels. Both playlists continue to share the same maps and modes, providing a fresh dynamic to the overall experience.

Weapon tuning has also been a central focus of this patch. Several popular firearms, including the Dravec 45 SMG and M8A1 Marksman Rifle, have received nerfs to damage, recoil, and mobility. Alongside these changes, quality of life updates such as improved minimap visibility, spawn logic tweaks, and weapon XP adjustments aim to smoothen the multiplayer experience as the beta progresses.
