The aforementioned screenshots regarding two new game modes featured in the upcoming Black Ops 7 can be seen below.
Based on the details mentioned in the above screenshots, the new Skirmish 20 vs 20 mode will have two teams of 20 fight to complete objectives across a large map. Players will be required to capture points of interest, destroy payloads, and transmit valuable data in order to score. They will also have the opportunity to use their wingsuits to flank and reach objectives before their enemy.
Meanwhile, the new Overload mode will feature two teams of 6 players, each of which will fight to control a neutral EMP device that must be delivered to the enemy HQ in order to score. The first team to reach the score limit by delivering multiple EMP devices will claim victory.
A few months ago, prior to the game’s official announcement, known Call of Duty leaker TheGhostOfHope shared that Activision and Treyarch plan to make changes to the Call of Duty Battle Pass with the release of Black Ops 7. Based on what they heard, it will feature more seasonal Limited Time Modes (LTMs) than in prior entries. They further mentioned that some of them will be considered “higher value”, and will offer unique rewards and different game mechanics. However, according to them, only those who acquire the Battle Pass will be able to play these LTMs unlike them being available to all players in Black Ops 6 and earlier titles.
