Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 Release Date Allegedly Leaked, Switch 2 Version Not Planned At Launch

The release date for Activision and Treyarch’s upcoming first-person shooter, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, has allegedly been leaked ahead of an official announcement.

Well-known Dealabs leaker billbil-kun has revealed details regarding the platforms, release date, availability of physical editions, and pricing for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The next entry in the Call of Duty series was revealed during  the recent Xbox Games Showcase 2025 in June.

The release date for the upcoming Call of Duty game, as per billbil-kun’s sources, can be seen below.

The same date was also mentioned last month by Call of Duty insider TheGhostOfHope on Twitter/X, lending it further credibility.

It was also confirmed by billbil-kun that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will not be available for the Nintendo Switch 2 when it launches later this year. It’s currntly unclear whether Activision plans to port it to Nintendo’s new console sometime after the game’s release for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and Xbox One.

Pricing & Availability of Physical Editions

As per the Dealabs insider, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will get a physical release, with the disc included instead of a download code, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and Xbox One. The game will be sold at the usual price of 79.99 US Dollars / 79.99 Euros.

As for pre-orders, both the digital and physical editions of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 can be pre-purchased starting this Wednesday, on August 20, 2025, a few hours after the announcement during the Opening Night Live of Gamescom 2025 on August 19.

In related news, it was recently claimed by The GhostOfHope that the multiplayer maps in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will feature a “more colorful” aesthetic, similar to that of Black Ops Cold War.
