Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 1 Will Be The Biggest Post-Launch Content Drop In Treyarch’s History

Season 1 for Activision’s upcoming first-person shooter, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, will be the biggest post-launch content drop in developer Treyarch’s history.

Treyarch has officially confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 1 will be the biggest post-launch content rollout the studio has ever delivered. In a new Dev Talk, the developer outlined a major lineup of maps, weapons, modes, and Zombies content arriving throughout the first season.

According to Treyarch, Season 1 will feature seven signature 6v6 multiplayer maps, including Fate, Odysius, and Utopia. Fate takes players back to the Menendez compound in Nicaragua, connecting to the Black Ops 2 mission “Time and Fate”, while Odysius revisits a key mission of the same name. Utopia offers a new battleground in an abandoned research facility in Australia tied to Project Synapse. The developers also confirmed that 2025’s remastered version of Nuketown will arrive on November 20, shortly after launch.

Fan-favorite classics Standoff and Meltdown are also being remastered for Season 1, joining a lineup of seven new and returning weapons, including the beloved Maddox assault rifle from Black Ops 4, as well as the Crossbow and Ballistic Knife. These weapons will be accompanied by the returning party mode Sticks and Stones, alongside Prop Hunt Punk and several holiday limited-time events.

Zombies fans can look forward to an equally substantial update, featuring three maps launching throughout the season. Highlights include a new round-based map called Survival X115 and a mid-season map set in the Cosmodrome region from Ashes of the Dam. Season 1 will also add returning field upgrades, new Augments, and multiple Zombies holiday LTMs with undisclosed map locations.

The developer assured that Season 1 is just the beginning, promising ongoing updates for Warzone and global progression across all modes.
