Activision and Treyarch’s latest first-person shooter, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, has barely managed to find its way into the Steam Most Played top 10 list at launch.

According to the Steam Most Played top 10 list (via NextGenPlayer on Twitter/X), Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 barely managed to enter the Steam Most Played top 10 list at launch, ranking well below recently released premium titles like Arc Raiders and Battlefield 6. The game’s availability on Xbox Game Pass may have played some role in its lower than expected performance, but it’s worth noting that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launched with much higher numbers last year on Valve’s digital platform despite also being available day one on Microsoft’s game subscription service, which itself was significantly cheaper last year than it is today.
