Story Mode

According to the source, Call of Duty Black Ops7’s story will be set in the year 2035, and it will be a follow up to Call of Duty Black Ops 2’s story. The plot will allegedly also involve Woods and Mason and one other character who’s name they are unable to recall. The Story mode will allow for up to 4 player co-op, and it will also feature a big open world map titled ‘Avalon’.

Zombies Mode

The Zombies mode in Call of Duty Black Ops 7 will allegedly have the original crew return as mulitiverse variations. It will also feature a remake of Call of Duty Black Ops ‘2’s Zombies story mode, Tranzit. The mode will be round-based, and it will also have a difficulty toggle, a “wonder vehicle”, and also a more story focused mode. It is also said to feature the largest round based map ever created.

Multiplayer Mode

As per the source, Call of Duty Black Ops 7’s multiplayer mode will feature a 32 vs 32 player mode. It will also feature remakes of some popular maps in a “2035 futuristic Japanese style” theme. The name of one of the maps began with the letter ‘R’, suggesting that it may be either of Rewind or Red Card.

The current plan at Activision is for everything in Call of Duty Black Ops 7 to have a progression level system, including grenades, killstreaks and perks. Progression is said to carry over from Call of Duty Black Ops 6. Omnimovement will also allegedly be making its return alongside wall-running.
