Capcom has launched a new website to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its long-running survival horror series, Resident Evil.
The Resident Evil 30th anniversary website features new artwork showcasing the series’ main characters, namely Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Grace Ashcroft, and Ada Wong. The lack of Ethan Winters in the image comes as rather surprising, considering that he was the protagonist of both Resident Evil VII and Village. Meanwhile, Grace being featured alongside established series characters strongly indicates that she’ll have an important role to play in the series’ future timeline.

Along with the new website and artwork, Capcom has also unveiled the Resident Evil 30th anniversary logo. It prominently features the Umbrella Corporation logo and the number “30”.
While Claire Redfield has been featured in the Resident Evil 2 remake, her presence in the 30th anniversary artwork alongside her brother Chris Redfield hints that Resident Evil: Code Veronica may be the next entry to receive the remake treatment. Resident Evil insider AestheticGamer, also known as Dusk Golem, recently claimed that that Capcom is developing remakes of Resident Evil: Code Veronica and Resident Evil Zero, expected to be released between 2027 and 2028. Development on the Zero remake reportedly underwent a reboot in late 2024, though the scale of these changes is still unclear.
As for Grade Ashcroft, she will be the lead character in the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem. The latter was announced at Summer Game Fest 2025 and is set to launch on February 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. New footage was revealed as part of an NVIDIA update, highlighting the latest RTX-powered technologies in the upcoming survival horror game. Capcom will showcase the game during Gamescom Opening Night today on August 19, with a press embargo lifting on August 20, and further presentations planned for Tokyo Game Show in September.
