Capcom has offered the first glimpse at the upcoming DLC for Resident Evil Requiem, confirming that additional story content is currently in development.

The publisher shared artwork through its official Resident Evil social media account. The artwork featured both Leon and Grace, suggesting they may be involved in the upcoming story DLC.

Resident Evil Requiem launched on February 27, 2026, and has quickly established itself as a major commercial success, surpassing 6 million units sold within its first month. The game follows dual protagonists Grace Ashcroft and Leon S. Kennedy, combining traditional survival horror elements with more action-focused gameplay.

Capcom has already confirmed that the upcoming DLC will expand on the game’s narrative, with director Koshi Nakanishi previously indicating that the new content will explore elements only hinted at in the main story. While a release window has not been announced, the expansion is expected to further build on the title’s world and characters.

In the meantime, the developer continues to support the game with updates. A recent patch introduced a Photo Mode, and another update planned for May 2026 is expected to add a new mini game, widely believed to be a modern take on Mercenaries Mode.

While details remain limited, the newly released artwork signals that development on the Resident Evil Requiem DLC is progressing, with more information likely to be shared in the coming months.
