Capcom Unveils Tokyo Game Show 2025 Lineup Featuring Resident Evil Requiem and Monster Hunter Wilds

Capcom has revealed its full lineup for Tokyo Game Show 2025, promising one of its most diverse showcases in recent years. The company’s presentation at the event will feature a mix of long-standing franchises and fresh projects, spanning consoles, PC, and mobile platforms.

The highlight of the lineup is Resident Evil Requiem, the ninth mainline entry in Capcom’s survival horror series. The game recently received its first extended gameplay demonstration ahead of Gamescom, where Capcom also provided a playable demo. Requiem was shown as part of an Nvidia technology presentation, highlighting how path-traced lighting, DLSS 4, and ray reconstruction are being used to deliver one of the most visually advanced entries in the series to date. Capcom framed the project as the next step in the franchise’s thirty-year evolution, building on its legacy of innovation in both graphics and gameplay.

Other major titles include Monster Hunter Wilds and Monster Hunter Stories 3, a recently announced sequel that expands the franchise’s story-driven spin-off line. The lineup also features Onimusha: Way of the Sword, a new entry in the dormant swordplay action series set for release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Capcom is also bringing Pragmata to the show, an ambitious action-adventure title set aboard a lunar research station, where players follow spacefarer Hugh and android Diana as they struggle against a rogue AI. Originally teased several years ago, the game is slated for release in 2026 on PC and current-generation consoles.

Alongside these headliners, the company will continue to showcase ongoing titles such as Street Fighter 6, as well as introduce new mobile entries including Monster Hunter Outlanders and Resident Evil Survival Unit.

Tokyo Game Show 2025 will run from September 25 to 28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City. The event is organized by the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association and expects more than 250,000 visitors across its four days, with over 2,500 exhibitor booths confirmed. Capcom’s presence, covering several of its most important franchises, is poised to be a major draw for both attendees and online viewers.
