Konami has confirmed that Castlevania Belmont’s Curse will be featured during the upcoming Triple-i Initiative showcase on April 9, signaling another look at the long awaited return of the series.
The announcement was shared via the official Castlevania social media account, stating, “Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse will be at the triple-i initiative showcase on April 9th! Tune in to learn more about the latest entry in the series, and the return of Castlevania to the spotlight.” The presentation is expected to include new details on the project, though the exact nature of the reveal has not been specified.
The Triple-i Initiative has positioned itself as a focused digital event highlighting projects from independent studios, with this year’s showcase scheduled to run for 45 minutes. Organized by Evil Empire, the broadcast will feature more than 40 games, including several world premieres and updates on previously announced titles.
Castlevania Belmont’s Curse was first revealed during the February 2026 PlayStation State of Play, marking a return to the franchise’s 2D action exploration roots. Developed by Konami in collaboration with Evil Empire and Motion Twin, the game is set in 1499 Paris and follows Sonia Belmont as she navigates a gothic setting tied to the series’ legacy.
The title is currently targeting a late 2026 release across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, with pre-orders having already gone live earlier this year.
