CD Projekt’s ambitious earnings goal for the period of 2026-2029 hint at the existence of the rumored Witcher 3 DLC.
The official CD Projekt Investor Relations Twitter/X account has shared that the company’s Management Board has proposed an ambitious earnings goal for the 2026-2029 tranche of its Incentive Program. It is further mentioned that this goal will be achieved by reaching a cumulative net profit of 5 billion PLN (approximately 1,406,403 US Dollars), hinting that the the developer has several major games planned for release during this period, including The Witcher 4 and, possibly, a third Witcher 3 DLC expansion.
According to CD Projekt’s official website, the aforementioned proposal will be voted on at the upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting on March 11, 2026, which will be broadcasted live here.
In a recent analyst report from Noble Securities’ Mateusz Chrzanowski, who maintains an accumulate rating for CD Projekt stock as well as revised internal schedules and budget expectations for the company’s flagship projects, it is mentioned that the rumored third expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is expected to have a launch price of 30 US Dollars and to sell 11 million copies. The analyst further mentioned that the DLC has a production budget of around 14.5 million US Dollars, excluding marketing. He added that the release of the expansion will kick off the proper marketing campaign for The Witcher 4.
Earlier in December, 2025, during an episode of the Rock and Borys podcast, co-host Borys Nieśpielak claimed that multiple independent sources within the Polish games industry confirmed to him that new DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set to be released. He believes now is “the best moment to announce this expansion,” adding that he would be genuinely surprised if CD Projekt didn’t reveal it soon. When co-host Remigiusz “Rock” Maciaszek asked whether an announcement was truly imminent, Nieśpielak reassured that his claim isn’t based on speculation.
