Paradox Interactive has released Cities Skylines II Patch 1.5.5f1, a hotfix addressing lighting issues introduced in the previous update. The patch restores the indirect lighting multiplier to its intended value and resolves problems with the Global Illumination setting not enabling correctly.
In addition to visual corrections, the update fixes a handful of user interface and settings related issues, including camera zoom behavior in the color customization menu and an autosave setting that could reset unintentionally. The developers have confirmed that mods should not be affected and older save files remain fully supported.
