Funcom has announced that Conan Exiles Enhanced is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, while the survival game Aloft will launch on PS5 in early 2027. The publisher confirmed both releases on October 27, although exact launch dates have yet to be announced.
Conan Exiles Enhanced will be available as a free upgrade for existing owners of Conan Exiles on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Purchased content will carry over to the enhanced versions on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Funcom also confirmed that full cross-play is planned for shortly after launch.
The enhanced edition first arrived on Steam in May 2025 as a free update for existing PC owners. It features improved visuals across environments, characters, lighting, and effects, alongside a redesigned user interface and various performance and quality-of-life improvements. The update also brings the Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah expansion together in a more unified experience, although the expansion remains a separate purchase.
Funcom CEO Scott Junior said the console release follows strong demand from the game’s player community. He also described the announcement as a milestone ahead of the franchise’s 10th anniversary, with the company planning to continue supporting and developing the game in the years ahead.
Meanwhile, Aloft will arrive on PlayStation 5 as it leaves Steam Early Access and reaches version 1.0 on PC in early 2027. Developed by Astrolabe Interactive, the game offers a different take on survival, allowing players to turn floating islands into skyships, build homes among the clouds, and explore a colourful open world alone or with friends.
The PS5 version will include the same content as the PC 1.0 release, incorporating more than two years of updates. Astrolabe Interactive CEO Manuel Bergeron said the full release will bring new content, stories, and improvements as the studio prepares to introduce the game to more players.
Funcom has yet to announce specific release dates or further details for either game. Both Conan Exiles Enhanced and Aloft are scheduled to reach their new platforms in the coming months, with Aloft targeting early 2027.
