Counter-Strike 2 Premier Season Three Update Adds Overpass and Gameplay Tweaks

Premier Season Three of Counter-Strike 2 has officially begun, bringing notable updates to both the map rotation and core gameplay mechanics. Overpass returns to the Active Duty Map Pool, replacing Anubis, reshaping the competitive landscape for the new season. Alongside these map changes, Valve has introduced gameplay adjustments aimed at refining weapon handling and tactical dynamics within matches.

Key gameplay updates include a faster spread rate for Incendiary Grenades, making area denial more effective, and a noticeable adjustment to the MP9 with increased recoil and reduced accuracy when jumping. Furthermore, in Competitive modes, Counter-Terrorist teams now receive a fifty-dollar team award for each Terrorist eliminated, slightly altering the economic balance of rounds.
