Pearl Abyss has announced that Crimson Desert has surpassed 3 million sales worldwide, marking another milestone for the recently released open-world action-adventure.
Sharing the update on X, the official account stated, “We are grateful to share #CrimsonDesert has sold through 3 million copies worldwide. To everyone who has stepped into Pywel and shared this journey with us, thank you.” The developer added, “Your feedback continues to help shape the experience, and we will keep working to make the journey ahead even more enjoyable for our players.”
The new figure builds on the game’s already strong launch performance. Released on March 19, 2026, Crimson Desert passed 2 million sales within its first 24 hours, setting a record as the fastest-selling Korean packaged game. The title follows Kliff, a mercenary navigating the continent of Pywel, with gameplay centered around exploration and a system that allows players to learn abilities by observing NPCs and enemies.
Developed using Pearl Abyss’ BlackSpace Engine, the game is available across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and macOS. Console versions include multiple graphical modes designed to balance performance and visual fidelity, including enhancements for PS5 Pro.
