Crimson Desert update 1.00.02 delivers a range of gameplay refinements, focusing on quest progression fixes and improved system usability. A new tutorial quest has also been introduced in Chapter 3, helping players better understand Abyss Gears.
The update further enhances combat and balance, including adjustments to boss encounters and enemy behavior, while also addressing UI issues, localization errors, and overall performance stability across platforms.

Crimson Desert update 1.00.02 is available starting March 20, 2026, for PlayStation and Epic Games Store, with rollout to Xbox and Mac App Store at a later time. The game launched on March 19, 2026, and is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Mac App Store.
