Cronos: The New Dawn Release Date Possibly Leaked via Xbox Store Alongside Full Achievement List

by Ali Haider

Bloober Team’s next psychological survival horror project, Cronos: The New Dawn, may have had its release date leaked ahead of an official announcement. According to a recent report from True Achievements, which detailed the full list of Xbox achievements for the game, the title is currently scheduled to launch on September 5, 2025, with early access beginning on September 3. Given that this information appears to be sourced from the Xbox Store, there is a possibility that the date was revealed prematurely or may simply be a placeholder.

While Bloober Team has not issued a formal statement confirming the release date, the leak appears credible. Xbox Store data has served as a reliable source of early reveals in the past, particularly for digital-only titles such as this one. Cronos: The New Dawn will launch exclusively in digital format and is slated for release on Xbox Series X|S and PC. It will support Xbox Play Anywhere, xCloud touch controls, and will be optimized for Series X|S hardware. Bloober Team is working on a physical release of the game, which will be limited to PS5 and PC in select markets.

Along with the possible release date leak, the full list of 47 achievements worth 1,000 gamerscore was posted, too. The list gives us a better look at how the game works, story stuff, and what looks like multiple endings. Some of the cool ones are tied to upgrading weapons, taking down specific enemies, and lots of story-based goals. It looks like the game has moral choices that actually matter, based on achievements like A Flicker of Hope and I Am Free, which seem to give different results for a character called the Pathfinder. There are also achievements for beating the game on hard mode, new game plus, and using certain “Essences” that connect to the main story.

Complete Achievement List for Cronos: The New Dawn
Below is a selection from the complete list of 47 achievements:

  • The Catfinder – Pet all the cats
  • Unadulterated Joy – Find all comic books
  • The Boon Of The Relics – Find all weapons
  • Fire. Spreading. – Set 5 enemies on fire with one torch burst
  • The Annihilator – Defeat 5 enemies with a single Arbalest round
  • Shell Not Compromised – Finish the game in Hard Mode
  • You Never Give Up – Finish the game in NG+
  • Free From All The Scars – Save both Weronikas
  • The Orthodox – Finish the game using only Collective-designated Essences
  • Punks Not Dead! – Finish the game using Edward’s Essence

This list doesn’t just confirm several weapon types, it also shows that the game is really focused on making you think about combat and telling a good story.

Previously, Bloober Team shared that Cronos: The New Dawn will offer a runtime of approximately 16 hours for a standard playthrough, aligning it with the studio’s upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake. The game supports extended content for players seeking full completion. The setting takes place in 1980s Poland, where players assume the role of the Traveler, a field operative working for an enigmatic group known as the Collective. The protagonist is tasked with recovering lost individuals in the aftermath of a catastrophe called the Change, which turned people into mutated entities referred to as Orphans.

Combat in Cronos will mix close-up fighting and ranged weapons, so you’ll need to manage your resources carefully and think about your choices. One interesting thing is that you have to burn enemies after you kill them to stop them from combining with other dead enemies and turning into something even more dangerous.
