Cronos: The New Dawn Sells 200,000 Copies at Launch, Tops One Million Wishlists

Bloober Team has confirmed that its latest survival horror release, Cronos: The New Dawn, has enjoyed a strong debut. According to the company’s filing with the Financial Supervision Authority, the game sold more than 200,000 digital copies across all available platforms by September 8, just three days after its launch. In addition, the title has already accumulated over one million wishlists, suggesting sustained interest from players who have yet to purchase.

The announcement comes via the developer’s official financial report, where the management board noted that the early performance demonstrates healthy demand for the new IP. For Bloober Team, a studio widely recognized for psychological horror titles such as Layers of Fear and The Medium, the numbers mark an encouraging step in expanding its portfolio into large-scale survival horror experiences.

Released on September 5, 2025, Cronos: The New Dawn is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Windows, Linux, macOS, and Nintendo Switch 2. The combination of early sales momentum and significant wishlist volume may indicate a long tail of engagement for the title, especially as the studio continues to provide updates and support.

Bloober Team’s confirmation of launch success sets the stage for the months ahead, as the game competes within a busy release calendar. Whether the strong start can translate into long-term sales will depend on word of mouth, critical reception, and ongoing support, but for now, Cronos: The New Dawn appears to have achieved a promising opening.
