Crusader Kings 3 Update 1.17.0 Ascendant Adds Coronations and Oath System

The new Crusader Kings 3: Coronations Event Pack is now available, bringing with it the grand tradition of crowning rulers in medieval fashion. Players can host elaborate coronations, take oaths to shape their reign, and navigate the political intrigue of vassals and detractors. This feature ties directly into the game’s character-driven storytelling, offering new opportunities to legitimize rule and create memorable dynastic moments.

Alongside the paid expansion content, update 1.17.0 Ascendant introduces a wealth of changes, including fresh events, AI adjustments, and bug fixes. From new artifacts and bow inspirations to fixes for activities, feasts, and nomad upgrades, the patch delivers a refined experience for both new and returning rulers. Crusader Kings 3 is a grand strategy role-playing game developed by Paradox Development Studio. It simulates medieval dynastic politics from 867 AD or 1066 AD until 1453 AD, allowing players to manage realms, vassals, and families through warfare, diplomacy, and intrigue. The game first launched for Windows, macOS, and Linux on September 1, 2020, and later arrived on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on March 29, 2022.
