Bend Studio has released a new update for Days Gone Remastered, bringing the game to version 1.036.180. The patch introduces support for the newly implemented Power Saver mode on both PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles. This addition follows Sony’s latest system update, which allows players to activate a “Power Saver for Games” setting designed to reduce the console’s overall energy use.
While the feature helps lower electricity consumption and aligns with Sony’s environmental sustainability goals, it does so by scaling back performance, which may lead to lower frame rates and resolution. The setting is optional and can be adjusted individually for supported games through the console’s system menu.

- Added compatibility for Power Saver mode on PS5 and PS5 Pro.
Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure survival game set in a post-apocalyptic Oregon. Players step into the role of Deacon St. John, a drifter and former outlaw biker struggling to survive against hordes of Freakers—feral, infected humans that roam the wilderness. In addition to its gripping narrative, the game combines survival elements with intense third-person combat and vehicle maintenance mechanics.
Days Gone Remastered launched on PlayStation 5 on April 25, 2025, featuring enhanced visuals, 60fps performance, faster loading times, and DualSense support. The remaster also includes the challenging Horde Assault mode and a Permadeath mode, offering both newcomers and returning players new ways to experience the harsh world of the Freaker apocalypse.
