Behaviour Interactive has released the 9.6.0 PTB update for Dead by Daylight, introducing a major systemic overhaul through the new diminishing returns mechanic. This change limits the effectiveness of stacking modifiers, aiming to stabilize gameplay balance across both Killers and Survivors.
The update also brings several quality of life improvements, including UI enhancements, spectator upgrades, and aura customization options. Alongside these, multiple Killer balance changes and bug fixes have been implemented, making this a substantial test build ahead of its full release.
